Welcome to the Araliya website. Our website is designed to provide you with information about our company and our services, and offers you the opportunity to make reservations for our apartments and vacation rentals or to purchase gift certificates for services at our apartments. To ensure you understand what happens to your personal data, we would like to explain how we use it and what choices you have regarding how your data is collected and used. 1. Collection and Use of Data

1.1 When you visit our website, our web servers temporarily collect technical details about the device you’re using to access our website, such as the browser type, operating system, or device settings. In addition, we collect your IP address and, if you access our website using your mobile phone, for example, we also collect your device’s unique identifier (known as a Unique Device Identifier). Our web server also collects certain data that the web browser you are using automatically transmits. This includes:
  • the name of your Internet service provider,
  • the address of the website from which you are visiting us,
  • the subpage of the Araliya website that you visit, as well as
  • the date and duration of your visit.
1.2 Our website also serves as an information platform through which we aim to respond to your inquiries. To make our communication with you more personalized, you have the option to provide us with your name, address, and email address via the contact form. Of course, you can also receive information using only your email address. 1.3 If you place orders or make reservations through our website or by other means (e.g., by phone), we generally collect personal information such as your name, address, desired shipping address (if applicable), email address, phone number, credit card number, and bank account information. If you create a customer account during this process, we will also ask you to set a unique password for it. 1.4 During your stay, we also store additional data, such as information about invoices in our service area or about wellness stays, as well as your feedback, comments, and requests.

2. Purposes for Which We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to enable you to visit our website (establishing a connection) and to compile anonymous usage statistics based on the data transmitted automatically (see Section 1.1). (1) In addition, we process your data to respond to your inquiries, fulfill orders or reservations, and tailor our services to your preferences. Furthermore, we grant you access to our media database if you have requested it. (2) If necessary, we may also use your data to enforce our rights or the rights of third parties. (3) We also use your personal data for promotional purposes, such as sending brochures. (4) With your consent, we use your data to send email newsletters.

3. Disclosure of Your Data to Third Parties

3.1 In connection with the processing of orders and bookings, we transfer personal data to service providers who assist us with this process. This applies in particular to providers of credit card billing services, to the extent that the data transfer is necessary to process the payment.

We use cookies on our website (_ga, _gat, _gid – all Google Analytics / cookieconsent_status) to make your online experience more enjoyable and personalized. 4.1 Cookies are small, often encrypted text files that are stored in your browser directory. They allow us to identify you as a specific customer and to store your personal preferences and technical information. 4.2 We use Google Analytics—a service provided by Google Inc., USA. We use it exclusively for statistical purposes. Your IP address is collected only in anonymized form. Please note, however, that some features of our website (e.g., login) may not function without cookies.

5. Data Retention

We store personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested services or to comply with legal obligations. 5.1 IP addresses and similar data (Section 1.1) are stored for up to 14 days, unless special circumstances (e.g., a hacker attack) require a longer retention period. 5.2 We store data from bookings for up to 10 years and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. 5.3 Non-personal data may be stored indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

6.1 You may view, update, restrict, or have your personal data stored by us deleted. To do so, please contact us by email or phone (see Legal Notice). 6.2 Unless required by law, we will delete your data upon request. In all other cases, we will block it for other purposes. 6.3 You may object to data processing at any time—in particular, to the use of your data for analytical or advertising purposes. 6.4 You may revoke any consent you have given for the use of your data (e.g., for newsletters) at any time.

Our website contains links to third-party providers (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest). This Privacy Policy does not apply to their content or practices. Please review their respective privacy policies on their websites.
